| Formed in October of 2004, the National Coalition for the Advancement of Drug Free Athletics, Inc. (NCADFA) is a New Jersey based, IRS 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. The NCADFA addresses the issue of performance enhancing drugs and other substances. The organization offers athletes, sports organizations, parents, coaches and teachers educational information and tools that stress natural strategies for performance enhancement. The NCADFA’s message is straight and clear, when it comes to drugs in sports, we encourage athletes to: “Choose NOT to Use!”TM
Comprised of chiropractors, addiction specialists, sports psychologists, and other health and fitness professionals, NCADFA aims to educate athletes and their mentors about the dangers of steroids and other performance enhancing drugs while offering, effective strategies and proven techniques that can help athletes attain the competitive edge- naturally. The organization’s community out-reach effort, “Natural-by-ChoiceTM Campaign” is currently offered throughout the country.
The NCADFA also stresses the importance of a proper functioning nervous system, nutrition, exercise, rest and recuperation, mental focus and mind-body balance for optimal health and peak athletic performance.
